I worked as a Level Designer and later Senior Level Designer on this project and was tasked with creating multiplayer levels that accommodated the unique combination of vehicle combat and character mechanics. I did various work across all the levels in the game that included:

 

  • Designing the shape of arenas and the layout of interior geometry.

  • Position of gameplay assets.

  • Design and implementation of dynamic level elements.

  • Level flow and making sure the levels encouraged momentum and destruction.

  • Ensuring levels provided exciting moment to moment gameplay that fit the fast paced nature of the game.

  • Making the levels work for on foot and vehicle play.

I also worked on the Multiplayer game modes and focused on the design and implementation of Gridfall.
